Croeso, welcome to the TaffMog web site
The South Wales Centre of the MSCC, known as TaffMog tries to live up to that famous Welsh song - "We'll keep a welcome ...." The emphasis is firmly placed on the social side of Morganeering and TaffMoggers are always delighted to welcome new members or visitors to our Noggins and events. To become a member of TaffMog, all you need is to be a current member of MSCC. An application form may be downloaded from www.mscc.uk.com
Noggins are held on the second Thursday and the third Wednesday of each month. Again in 2010, we also have noggins on the last Friday of the month starting on 26th March. Details of times and venues will appear on this site and in Miscellany.
Our 2010 Programme is now prepared and we are looking forward to another enjoyable year of Morganeering.
In 2009, we invited members from all centres to join us on a "Wicked Welsh Weekend" which was based at The Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells. This included beautiful, scenic runs and a dinner-dance on the Saturday night. Llan'dod, as we call it, is easily accessible for all. The feedback we had from participants was all positive and this event is being repeated in May 2010, (May 28th/31st). Registrations and hotel bookings for this event have come in thick and fast and there is very little availability at this time. On the charitable front, TaffMog has raised considerable sums over the
years which have been donated to local and national charities. This
year, our selected beneficiary is the MS Society, specifically the MS Therapy Centre at Swansea.
The highlight of the TaffMog calendar is our Winter weekend in December when we combine scenic runs, visits to places of interest and a dinner-dance. This year it will be held at The St Pierre Golf and Country Club near Chepstow on our traditional weekend, the first weekend in December (3rd - 5th).
